Light Garden Hawaii is a not just a productive fruit farm and botanical archive of tropical plants but also a sustainable hub of cultural activity to share with the local and global community.

Our orchard is full of longan (Dimocarpus longan), Kona mango (Mangifera indica) and lilikoi (Passiflora edulis) - bursting with fruit all year round. We also grow bread fruit aka ‘ulu’ (Artocarpus altilis), , Tangelo (citrus reticulata x paradisi), as well as some favourite avocado varieties (Persea americana sp) and many other citrus species.

As food and plant growers living and working on the active volcano Kilauea, we realise that farming here is a special kind of challenge but our roots taught us how to appreciate the impermanence of our surroundings and that creativity thrives when challenged.
